TV Section 3 Opening
For the opening of our Television Production class I think it would be a good idea to have everyone's individuality shine through. It is important as John Carroll patriots to promote uniqueness and integrity. It is our duty to behave as model students and to fulfill our potential abilities as patriots of the John Carroll community. Therefore, our opening should represent our own ideas and thoughts. Expressing what we enjoy and what we like to do through our segment is most important. After all students have their individual segment, for example Nolan playing football because he represents our men varsity football team, we all join together. This symbolizes the unity of our community. Everyone has their own hobbies and qualities that make them unique, but we all join together despite our differences. In the respect of Television Production, shooting phenomenal film with quality sound is all icing on the cake to this tightly knit community. Television Production is all about promoting our personalities and being ourselves but having fun together as a whole group.

Student Profile
My ideas for a probable college major are on a very broad spectrum. I am considering everything from Nursing to Mass Communication to Special Education. I'm also considering Interior Design and Fashion Merchandising. Whatever it may be, I just want to have a job that I love. I saw a quote that really changed my perspective about college and majors. "Imagine a job that you loved so much and you wouldn't mind if they didn't pay you a single cent. That is what you need to major in." I think everyone going into college needs to read this and think about a possible major. I know for a fact I could never do something that involved math or science. I could never be an accountant or an engineer. I have worked with mentally and physically disabled children recently. I was told I had a real gift with these children. I really connected with them and loved every second of it. I love to help people in the community. That's why nursing and education would be great for me. I also love art. I can't exactly draw or paint but I love to design. Something from Fashion, Interior or maybe Graphic designing would be a great fit. I've helped my sister redecorate her room as well as mine. I love to use my creativity and imagination to make interior designs. As you can see, I have a very long way to go until I can narrow down my options. As I said previously, as long as I am happy and doing what I love that is all that matters.
